STEPS ON HOW TO LOCATE NIGERIA MARITIME UNIVERSITY OKERENKOKO
STEP 1: enter bus from your location to delta state. let them know you are going to drop at warri. not every bus goes to warri. so be specific by asking where the bus will drop you in delta state.
STEP 2 : after getting to warri, there you have to shine your eyes not to fall mugu for some of the guys in the street of warri. from warri, ask for direction to either HENEREN JUNCTION OR EFFURUN ROUND ABOUT. this places are popular in warri. anywhere you are directed to from here, you will find bus going to main market.
STEP 3: if you decide to go through HENEREN JUNCTION, then you have to enter Bus Going to Main Market/Ogbejoh Market. but if you go through EFFURUN ROUND ABOUT, you will also see a bus going to Main Market/Ogbejoh Market.
STEP 4: after dropping at OGBE-IJOH MARKET, ask for direction to the water side. make sure you tell them you want to enter boat from Madam Dolphin/Madam Rose booking corner.
STEP 5: when you get to madam dolphin/madam rose booking store, there you can book a boat and tell them you are going to KURUTIE NIGERIA MARITIME UNIVERSITY. for now that is where the school official campus is located. please do not make mistake of booking for OKERENKOKO because it is a different community. KURUTIE is where the school is operating from. don't forget to ask for life jacket to wear before boat ride especially if you don't know how to swim. you can also decide to buy a life jacket for yourself before leaving from your house.
STEP 6: when you get to KURUTIE COMMUNITY, as a student, you can decide to rent an hotel there on your own or you can peer with other students like 4-5 to rent the hotel together. but be careful not to lose guard by making sure your items are safe. don't just peer with any kind of people.
while lodging in the hotel, make sure to try and finish your registration so you can request for hostel accommodation quickly and move in immediately so you won't spend much on hotel accommodation. you have to be fast in this process so others will not outsmart you in occupying the hostels before you.
